Current Version: 1.0 - The Forum Town Manual has been completed as of March 27, 2009. The information is up to date with the forum. Manual has not be revised, some information may be missing. Information will change as the forum progresses.

Rules
There are 3 basic rules in Forum Town. Please read and follow them. Any post that breaks any one of the following rules will result in a warning, deleted post, and perhaps even a banishment from Forum Town if this occurs repeatedly.
- No constant spamming or consecutive posting. Currently on the forums, there is a modification installed that prevents double posts. Please do not abuse this modification.
- No harassment; this includes racial comments, homophobic comments, swearing, bullying, threats or sexual and religious references.
- Do not make multiple accounts; A change of your username is possible upon request. If username is changed, notify the community by creating a topic.
By following these rules, you will ensure to let others have fun, and yourself! Getting banned is no fun at all.

Four Corners of Forum Town
Here are the 4 main categories of Forum Town with thorough explanations for each area. A guest area, the fifth category, was added in February 2009. This is currently experimental and is not part of the Four Corners of Forum Town as it is accessible by non-Forum Town users.
General Forums
This section is where the main and fun discussions are held. Within the General section, there are 5 forums: The Bulletin, The Lounge, Music and Games, Jokes and Fun, and Suggestions and Help.
The Bulletin
Check this forum frequently. If there is a new update to the forum, it will be put in this forum. Each new update will be a new topic that is posted an administrator. Also, updates to the "Town" (See Forum Town "Town" section below) will be posted in The Bulletin as well. Topics in The Bulletin are for eyes only; the topics in the forum are locked and cannot be replied to.
The Lounge
You will be visiting here often. All main discussion will be here. Also, the famous "Counting to One Million" forum is within this forum, as an Announcement; it is at the top of every page when browsing through this forum. If you wish to discuss about the updates within The Bulletin, they may be discussed here, as The Bulletin is a locked forum.
Music and Games
This forum is similar to The Lounge. However, this forum is discussion of only topics of the matter related to music and games. Also, if you wish to play forum games here, you may, for there are sub-forums in this forum to discuss or play games individually. If you wish to have a sub-forum created in this section for a game you wish to play or discuss about, submit a request to an administrator and it will be created if verified.
Jokes and Fun
This forum is for the purpose of telling jokes and having time-consuming and mindless fun. This forum of the section "General" is the least active.
Suggestions and Help
If you need and help regarding the forum, or if you have a suggestion that you feel will improve the site, create and topic and discuss here. Also, if you have a question regarding a new update within The Bulletin, ask here. On the contrary, if you have a suggestion, it just may be included in the next update. This forum is moderated by Elastic Mush.
School Forums
This section is for discussion of anything is is related to school.
School Talk
Anything related to school should be discussed in this section. Also, the daily homework of the class "1D6-01" will be posted in this section as well. This forum is moderated by Ganzicus.

Updates to the forum, the Wikipedia site of Forum Town, the calendar, the site itself, or the actual Forum Town "Town" (See section below) will be here. The Recycle Bin is also in the section.

Updates to Forum Town "Town" (See section below), the Wikipedia page, and the website itself of Forum Town can be found here. There is also a sub-forum called "Town Archives"; this is to keep old topics from the Forum Town forum.
Recycle Bin
If you're ever wondering where your dead topic went, just look through here. The Recycle Bin is an unorganized forum where all inactive discussions are put into. The Recycle Bin was made to preserve post counts, but also to keep the rest of Forum Town organized and clean.
Contests
The current contests will be put into this section. A new forum will be created within this section for every new contest.

Rock Paper Scissors Contest - This was an in-school contest of double round-robin rock paper scissors. The winner was Jonathan.

Test Your Knowledge - A general trivia contest where the answer to one question was the password to another question, creating different levels of questions.
Forum Town "Town"
For the sake of consistency and easier understanding of the manual, the Forum Town actual settlement area (the "Town") will be named as the "Town", while the forum will be named as the "Forum".
As you all should know by now, Forum Town is the name of the site. However, the site is actually named after an event created several years ago called "Data Land". Later, Data Land and the site was updated, and the names were changed to "Forum Town". The Forum Town "Town" is an exclusive event, open only to those who have joined when the event was open to public. However, this was when accounts must have been approved by an administrator to be activated. Accounts now can be created without approval from authorities. Therefore, the Forum Town event is now private.
The Forum "Town" will be continued depending on the popularity of Forum Town and the excitement of the "Town" population
Members of the "Town"
These are the members who were part of Forum Town before the new forum, and thus, are part of the "Town."
